Web-Based Conferencing

Web-Based Conferencing

Description

Allows users to make conference calls over the web, including showing PowerPoint or other presentations.  Conversations can be online or over the phone, with the visual content online.

Uses and Potential Benefits

Useful for making presentations for a group where it would be prohibitive to meet in person.  Also, can allow a group to work together on a computer when they are not in the same location.  Example: an expert in an issue area could make a presentation to grantees on the web, answering questions verbally over a phone conference.
