One stop customized web pages that allow users to pick the content that is displayed by choosing modules. (e.g. viewing email, calendar, news feeds and sports scores all on one page).

 

Uses and Potential Benefits

Useful as a web browser home page or reference page, can place needed information all in one place.  Example: a foundation might set up a web portal for its program officers to highlight useful information (news, email, calendar) all on one place.
